Cutting Edge Technology

Whilst the fundamentals of plan drawing have not changed, the tools we use have. We pride ourselves on evolving, and using technology to assist and enhance the finished product. All plans are drawn using CAD and the latest AutoCad software. On-site measurements are carried out whenever possible with laser measuring devices that are accurate to 1.5mm in 100 metres!

Survey photographs are taken digitally and can be analysed with specialist software to provide accurate dimensions of elevational detail not otherwise measureable.

Professional Relationships

Dilworth Design have an enviable reputation for obtaining the necessary consents. This has come from years of experience and understanding of the policies and guidelines of various local authorities. We have built up a good professional working relationship with the individual planning officers and open lines of communication are maintained with every application.

We have worked actively with Solihull MBC on the Agents Planning Forum in reshaping the House Extension Guidelines - to ensure consistency and fairness with the planning process, and a coherent policy.
